Hello! And thanks for visiting my website. Now it’s time for me to tell you more about myself…in thiryd person, which is totally not awkward at all.

Vjeran is a video director, producer, photographer with a background in journalism. During his pursit of masters degree in journalism, Vjeran joined Wall Street Journal’s sister website All Things Digital ran by two legendary reporters Kara Swisher and Walt Mosberg. Shortly after joining as an intern, All Things Digital separated from WSJ and spun into a new news website Re/code and Vjeran was offered a role of an associate editor for photos, graphics and art.

After nearly two years of stellar journalism and even better live events, Re/code was bough by one of the largest digital media companies in the US — Vox Media. As part of the acquisition, Vjeran has moved into a new role as a video director at the Verge, a leading technology and science website know for their exquisite arts team. There he was able to grow his various skills — from directing, producing, writer, editing and his love of new technologies (especially drones) meant he was able to host his own videos.

His work ethic, attention to detail and his strong journalistic ethics was soon rewarded and he became a senior director. During his time at the Verge, Vjeran was nominated for two Emmy awards and won one regional Emmy in Norther California for his work on a series What’s Next with Lauren Goode and episode about exoskeletons. He was also a recipient of a Webby award for his work on a story about Facebook content moderation. But the true award for that piece came from the change that followed after the piece was published. Vjeran hopes his future work can help bring more change to this world.
